Assistance in Health Care, Inc. was established in February 1993. The organization is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization offering financial assistance to cancer patients currently treating within the Tulsa area. The organization exists only to provide this support and make a difference in their lives.

Patients undergoing cancer treatment can complete a written form requesting assistance and it will be presented monthly to the board of directors for approval. The organization provides money for emergency non-medical expenses such as rent, utilities, car payments and various other needs. The organization does not provide money for travel, medications, supplements, hotel accommodations and/or physician or hospital charges. Please complete your application in its entirety for consideration. Application due by month end- for consideration in the following month. Financial assistance is not intended for monthly supplementation.

The organization's board members are volunteers who donate their time for board meetings and committee meetings required to plan and produce fundraising activities. The group plans one major fundraiser each year -Sun Gala- and other smaller events, on occasion. Other major sources of funds include memorials, grants and donations from patients' families and friends.
